Helping Western North Carolina Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Helping Western NC Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

A Heartfelt Thank you!

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, we have been deeply humbled by the outpouring of generosity from donors across the country. Your kindness is making a real difference in the lives of families and communities throughout Western North Carolina, and we are incredibly grateful for your support. Thanks to you, Força Foundation is able to provide both immediate relief and long-term rebuilding efforts to help our neighbors recover from this devastating disaster.

Short-Term Relief and Rebuilding Efforts

With the donations we’ve received, we are addressing urgent needs—providing temporary housing, temporary transportation, and other essentials to those who have lost everything. But this is only the beginning. Beyond the immediate relief, we are also laying the groundwork for the long-term rebuilding of homes that were destroyed. We know that recovery will take time, and we are committed to seeing this process through.

To rebuild, however, we need more than just financial resources. The rebuilding efforts will require hands-on help, and we are actively seeking partnerships with individuals and groups who can provide volunteer labor. From skilled tradespeople to those willing to lend a hand in any capacity, your time and effort can be just as valuable as monetary donations. Together, we can restore what was lost and bring hope back to our community.

Expanding our Mission to Support Hurricane Victims

Since our founding, Força Foundation has been dedicated to helping disadvantaged communities across the globe. Whether in Uganda, Ukraine, or Colombia, our mission has always been to lift up those in need. Now, in the wake of Hurricane Helene, we are expanding our focus to include the victims right here in Western North Carolina. This local community is home to our headquarters in Franklin, NC, and we feel a deep responsibility to support our neighbors during their time of need.

The Ongoing Process of Recovery

We are in the midst of an enormous effort to manage the many aspects of relief and recovery. Our team is working tirelessly to gather donations, develop the intake process for relief applications, and coordinate a group of dedicated volunteers to meet with hurricane victims on the ground. It has been an overwhelming undertaking, but every challenge is worth it when we see the difference we are making in people’s lives.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone involved—our donors, volunteers, and community partners—for their unwavering support. Whether through donations, time, or expertise, you are the force behind our efforts, and together we are making a tangible impact. The road to recovery is long, but we are just getting started, and with your continued help, we can rebuild stronger than ever before.

Thank you for standing with us, and thank you for standing with the people of Western North Carolina.
